DESCRIPTION:Have you heard?  Over 15 creatively constructed Cool Cats have invaded Delaware Water Gap and are vacationing in virtually all downtown businesses!  The cats\, and their area artist creators love Delaware Water Gap\, and invite the local community and visitors to walk the town to locate as many as they can!  Pocono Center For The Arts  is presenting this fundraiser – a unique and fun art experience. \nSince July 1st through August 30th 2025\, the public is encouraged to locate at least 12 cat sculptures and can submit the location and title of each cat\, to be entered to win awesome and valuable prizes\, donated by great local businesses and individuals. \n \nFolks can submit what they think are the correct answers\, and if determined so\, will be entered into a raffle\, with random names being chosen to win one of an awesome selection of prizes! This raffle will take place on September 13th\, 2025 at Sycamore Grill in Delaware Water Gap. \nSubmit answers to info@poconocenterforthearts.org with Cool Cats of DWG in the subject line\, to have a chance to be entered. Prizes are coming from Camelback Water Park\, Studio M Glass\, PCFTA\, Artist – Heidi Hooper\, Bo Tangle\, Klues Escape Room\, Fawn Beauty and MORE! \nWe are hosting an online bid auction for the cat sculptures beginning in later August 2025. Artists will receive 70% of the proceeds and PCFTA will receive the remainder. DESCRIPTION:Marty Carr of Stroudsburg\, PA is a prolific and passionate artist. She will be exhibiting her original and repurposed creations through June 27 at the Office/Gallery at Chant Realtors\, 631 Rt. 739 in Lords Valley. \nMs. Carr’s passion for art was fostered at home by her par-ents and artist grandmothers. Marty has experimented with many mediums preferring watercolor and mixed media. Her most recent works in-clude original and repur-posed creations inspired by the female figure\, shapes and the movement of trees. \nMarty Carr has frequently exhibited in Stroudsburg and in galleries throughout the US and Canada.
